Seasons of Life
Life has seasons.
Nothing blooms all year round. Not even us.
Our body, our goals, our energy, our sexual energy, our relationships all have seasons. Once we understand this and give ourselves a massive break, life will begin to flow a lot easier and we can give ourselves a massive break and take the foot off the accelerator.
Autumn: my favourite time as there is so much beauty in nature. The leaves go brown and start to fall off the tree. In our emotions and our body, it’s the letting go of the old, celebrating what was, grieving what didn’t eventuate. A time for release, a time of shedding the skin.
Winter: this is the time that society fights so much with. That feeling like nothing is happening, yet it is so important to have this Yin like state. This is the time for flow, for allowance, for rest and rejuvenation.
Spring: I love the feeling of spring! The feeling of freshness, aliveness, the world feeling full of possibilities. Things start stirring in your body, work is happening towards your goals.
Summer: we’ve become summer obsessed! This is the manifestation of our goals, the fruition of the work we have put in has come into play. That fiery yang energy, that explosive orgasm, that pleasure state, that hustle hard energy.
Understanding that you need all of these seasons in life, in your body, in your relationships in your reach for pleasure. Once you have an understanding around this, it helps to give your body a break from the pressures we all put it under and start to become better friends and better connected.
